Care Center receives rollator donation

We have donated ten rollators to the Maria Frieden Care Center, part of the Caritas Association Mannheim e.V. This donation enables the care center to respond more swiftly to urgent needs. During the handover, the Home Manager, Yuliya Kostiv, expressed her deep gratitude and emphasized, "We currently have nearly 165 care places, and occasionally, we require quick assistance in the event of a fall or other injury. This generous donation allows us to provide our residents with a walker immediately, without the need to wait for a doctor's prescription."

Since these rollators are used both indoors and outdoors, we have equipped them with additional accessories. Standard features include a basket, tray, and cane holder. However, we believe that umbrellas with a holder for hands-free use, cable locks, and lights would be valuable additions in the coming months.

In this way, residents can not only move around within the nursing home but also enjoy long walks in snowy and rainy weather. Furthermore, the rollators provide secure support as part of the care center's wide range of activities and excursions, especially during longer journeys, and the built-in seat offers an opportunity for rest.

We show 3 reasons why nobody should be ashamed of using a rollator.
