Perfect bathing experience

Water temperature


Water that is too hot not only puts a strain on your heart and circulation, your skin also loses moisture. The perfect bathing temperature is 36° to a maximum of 38° Celsius. Therefore: Don't take too many baths, your skin will thank you.

Bath time


Bathing for too long puts a strain on the skin and circulation. 10 to 20 minutes bathing time would be ideal. Your body needs some time to relax. Bath additives also only take effect after a few minutes. However, if your fingers become shriveled, you need to get out. Don't bathe too often either. Two to three times a week is ideal. If you have very dry skin, you should only immerse yourself in warm water once a week if possible.

Bath additive


Pay attention to natural additives here. Oils should be combined with salts, then they work better. If you want to relax, we recommend lavender, rose and sandalwood. These have a calming effect. Citrus scents are more stimulating. They lift the spirits.

A bubble bath may look great, but it contains surfactants. These can dry out your skin. So don't use it too often. However, these baths have a cleansing effect. So once a week is fine.

Time


The best time for a relaxing bathing experience is in the evening. Between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. is ideal. With a soothing bath additive you will become even more tired and a good night's sleep is well initiated. If you like bathing in the morning and want to banish tiredness, you should use refreshing and stimulating bath additives. E.g. juniper and rosemary. These bring momentum into your day.

Relax
