2008
In August 2008, „Peter Endres GmbH & Co. KG“ was re-named „Drive Medical
GmbH & Co. KG“. In the course of Europe-wide expansion, the companies „Me-
dicare Technology“ and „Endres UK“ in Great Britain merged at the beginning
of 2008 to form „Drive Medical UK Ltd.“.
Expansion in Europe
Drive Medical achieved rapid growth following its first appearance as a newly
structured company at the „Reha Care“ in 2009. The new image and the product
portfolio were well received very quickly and significant market shares were
achieved in Germany.
Success in Germany
2009
Drive further expands the product range and the field of expertise. The main
focus remains on mobility. This is made clear by the introduction of a range
of new rollators, walking frames and wheelchairs as well as the automatic,
universal Doormatic door opener – a „mini“ revolution, which was presented
at the „Reha Care 2012“.
New products, more expertise
2012
Drive Medical continues on a course for growth and is consequently guided by
these needs while continuously developing new products which respond even
better to the market‘s expectations. Forward-thinking visions and vibrant philo-
sophies - those are what guide Drive Medical.
